A Chrome extension that finds the video, audio, images and files on a page you are viewing, and saves the ones you choose to your own computer.
Everything AID does happens inside your own browser. Your archive is stored on your device and nowhere else — nothing you find, download or save is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
Private by design
- Your archive is stored entirely on your own device — a fully client-side data store, with no copy kept anywhere else
- Nothing you find, download or archive is ever uploaded to our servers, or to anyone else’s
- No analytics, no tracking and no advertising of any kind
- AID has no access to pages you are not actively using it on
What we never see
- The pages you visit, or the media AID finds on them
- The files you download — they are saved on your device and stay there
- Your card number, UPI ID, bank details or CVV — those go to Razorpay, on Razorpay’s own page
What it handles
- Adaptive streams — HLS (.m3u8) and DASH (.mpd) — reassembled from their segments and remuxed into a single .mp4 on your own machine
- Ordinary video files, in the formats used across the web
- Audio tracks and audio files, saved as they are served
- Images, at the resolution the page actually loads
- Documents and any other files the page links to
What it will not do
- AID does not download DRM-protected video, and it does not work on YouTube — Chrome Web Store policy does not allow it, so no extension published there may offer it.
- Please only download content you own or have permission to save — that part is down to you.
Requirements — Google Chrome 116 or later, and a Google account to sign in with.
How it works
- Open the page holding the media you want.
- Click the AID icon. It lists everything the page offers, sorted into video, audio, images and files.
- Pick what to keep. AID captures it, remuxes it if it needs remuxing, and files it in your Library.
AID reads what the page itself requests, rather than working from a list of supported sites. That is why it keeps working when a site changes how it delivers media, and why there is no list of sites to check before you install.

Every new account gets 2 days of full access, free, with no payment details required. The trial starts when you first sign in and includes everything a paid plan includes.
One trial per Google account.

All plans include unlimited downloads of every supported format. There is no usage cap and no per-file charge.

How billing works
Each plan is a one-off payment for a fixed period, not a recurring subscription. Nothing is charged automatically when it ends — access simply stops, and you buy again if you want to continue.
Buying while a plan is still running extends it from its current end date, so no paid time is lost.
AID Media Downloader is a product of Consulting99, and Consulting99 is the name your purchase is made from.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI IDs and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s own secure page and are never seen or stored by AID or by Consulting99.
